The Last Black Man in San Francisco

Recently at Amoeba Records there was the release of “The Last Black Man In San Francisco” soundtrack on double LP. Emile Mossseri, the composer of the score, as well as writer/star, Jimmie Fails IV, and the director, Joe Talbot were all on hand to sign copies.

From Amoeba, “It felt like a great family party, loose, and joyous. Folks told them how much the movie meant to them, there was hugging, and affectionate shit-talking, and Emile’s brother, Adam, helped take photos with fans’ phones. Over 100 people rolled through, including fans, a few people who worked on the film, old classmates, some German tourists who happened to be shopping, and a few homies.”

This film really moved me and is so beautiful, if you’ve not seen it please check it out soon.
